Meeting time & Location: The second Thursday of every month at 3:15 pm, room 309

​Purpose: FFA is a dynamic youth organization within agricultural education that changes lives and prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. FFA was created in 1928 as the Future Farmers of America; the name was changed in 1988 to the National FFA Organization to represent the growing diversity of agriculture.

​Membership Requirements and Qualifications:

Students need to attend monthly meetings and participate in club sponsored events such as cookouts, fundraisers, service projects and field trips.

​Membership Dues: $12.00 per year (which includes membership in local, state and national chapters)

​Projects include:

  • Career Development Events (regional, state and national competitions)

  • Regional Leadership Conference

  • Summer Camp at NC FFA Center at White Lake

  • Service Projects

  • Fundraisers

  • Cookouts

  • NC State Fair Trip
